This quick and easy chutney is a blend of roasted unsalted peanuts and cilantro leave.Perfect as a side for South Indian breakfast recipes Idli,Dosa,Vada and Upma.

1 cup Roasted unsalted peanuts
1/2 a bunch of coriander leaves(Cilantro)
2 string of curry leaves
4-5 green chilies
salt to taste
1/2 tsp of mustard seeds
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp of urad dal
Pinch of hing/Asafoetida
- Combine together all the ingredients in a blender and grind to paste.Take it in a bowl and keep it aside.
- For tadka heat a pan with little oil or no oil allow the mustard seeds to splutter then add jeera ,urad dal,Hing fry till the urad dal color changes to brown in reduced flame.
- Then top it up onto the Peanut chutney.It is completely optional to season/Tadka.It tastes equally good without seasoning as well.
- This Chutney is good for Idly ,Dosa ,Upma & Vada or it can used as dipping for any snack.
