Roti/chapathi/Phulka(Indian flat bread) is a staple carbohydrate made with whole wheat flour and usually consumed for breakfast,lunch and dinner with different vegetable dishes.

1 cup whole wheat flour
salt to taste
water required to knead
- A dough is prepared by kneading whole wheat flour,salt and water and allowing it to rest for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Take small portions of dough, make round balls and press between palms to make round discs. Dip them in flour and rollout to make an even circle.
- Place the rollout chapathi on the preheated dry griddle and cook on both sides, turning intermittently
- Top off the roti/chapathi/Pulka with butter/ghee.Serve with any Vegetarian Curry.
