For this recipe you can use any combination of vegetables and add some Indian spices to make the patties flavorful.
For Vegetable patties:
2 cups of boiled vegetables(Potato,sweet potato, carrot, beetroot, peas)
2tbsp Homemade breadcrumbs or Corn starch
2tbsp minced green chilies
1/4 cup chopped cilantro & mint leaves
2 tbsp of minced Ginger and garlic
1and 1/2 tbsp of Garam masala
1 tbsp of Coriander powder
1 tbsp Roasted cumin powder
1 tbsp Red chilli powder
salt to taste
1 tsp chaat masala
oil as required
Procedure for the wrap:
- Follow the steps for the homemadewrap or use a store bought whole wheat tortilla .
Procedure for patties:
- In a large bowl mix all the ingredients.Make 8 equal portions of round balls flatten it in between the hands.
- Heat a non stick pan and brush the pan with few drop of oil.Then place the patties on the pan and cook both sides until they turn brown.
Instructions for wrapping:
-Place the tortilla or roti on a plate, break the patties ,place them in the center of the wrap and top with sliced onion,cilantro,ketchup or tamarind chutney fold it and enjoy.
