Puffed rice Masala

It is street snack usually made with puffed rice,onions,tomato along with peanut and some Indian spices.I prefer this snack  usually  when it is raining outside along with some hot Indian tea.

Preparation time:5 mins
Makes 4-5

1 and  1/2 cup Puffed rice
1 Medium onion finely chopped
2 Green chilies(optional)
1/4 Cup of cashews or peanuts
few potato chips or corn flakes
2 tsp finely chopped cilantro
1 small tomato finely chopped
1/2 a lime juice
1 tsp Aloo bhujia for garnish(optional)

For Seasoning:
1/2 tsp chaat masala
1/2 tsp Red chili powder
salt to taste

In a large bowl add all the ingredients and seasoning.Mix well and serve immediately.


-Adding potato chips or corn flakes gives an extra crunch to the snack.
-If you don’t like it spicy skip red chili powder.
