This is my favorite vegetable fry quick and easy to make.It is usually very bitter in taste and has huge health benefits.Growing up we didn’t have a choice to say ‘No’ to any veggies.My mom always make sure that we incorporate all the veggies in our diet.That’s how i got introduced to this vegetable :).Let’s learn the recipe.

Ingredients:
4-5 Bitter gourd
1 medium onion finely chopped
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp Red chili powder
salt to taste
1 tsp Oil
pinch of turmeric
Procedure:
1.Wash and remove the ends of the bitter gourd , finely dice them and set aside.
2.Heat a non stick pan on a medium flame and add cumin seeds allow them to splutter and then add the dice bitter gourd,salt and  turmeric.
3.Cook it covered on a medium flame and stir it every 3-5 Mins to avoid from getting burnt.
4.Once the bitter gourd is cooked half way through add the onions mix well and fry for 5-10 mins or until the onions are cooked.
5.Then finish off by adding red chili powder ,mix and serve it hot with rice or quinoa.
