Broccoli is a healthy,easy and tasty recipe .It is a spicy vegetable filling stuffed into a rolled whole wheat dough and served with a pickle or yogurt.What a great way to incorporate broccoli into our diet when it tastes yummy. It is ideal consume for breakfast,lunch or a quick dinner.

1 Cup Whole wheat flour or Multigrain flour
Salt as needed
water for kneading the dough
Butter/Oil/Ghee(clarified butter) for applying it to the flat bread
1 Cup Grated broccoli(i used stalk as well)
1 Medium onion finely chopped
1 tsp Grated ginger
1 tsp finely chopped green chilies
pinch of turmeric
1 tsp dry mango powder
1 tsp red chili powder (optional if you want it to be less spicy)
1 tsp Oil
1 tsp Cumin seeds
1/2 tsp Garam masala powder
1 tsp Ground flax seed powder
1.In a large bowl mix together whole wheat flour,salt and add water slowly to form a dough and knead well.Divide the dough into 5-6 equal portions and set aside.
2 Head a pan on a medium flame and add oil,cumin seeds allow them to crackle then add onions,salt,turmeric ,ginger,green chili and fry for a minute.
3.Then add grated broccoli,dry mango powder,red chili powder,garammasala powder,ground flax seed powder .Mix well and fry for another 2 minutes.Remove from the stove transfer into a bowl and set aside to cool.
4.Take a portion of the dough and flatten it with you hand add a spoonful of the filling and seal the dough.
5.Dust the surface with flour and place the dough roll into a 6 inch diameter disc.Heat a non stick pan and place the flat bread cook both sides by smearing it with ghee or butter or oil.Serve hot with pickle or Yogurt.
-It is easy to use a food processor or a blender(give it one to two pulse) to grate broccoli.
-Wrap them in a aluminum foil and keep it in a container for it to stay soft.
