Minnapa Sunnundalu(Urad dal sweet or black gram lentil sweet) it is a traditional Andhra sweet made with roasted urad dal mixed with powdered sugar or palm sugar
along with melted ghee.It very rich in calcium and protein.

1 cup whole or split urad dal
1 or 3/4 cup powdered sugar
1tsp freshly ground cardamom(optional)
1/2 cup melted clarified butter
1)Heat a heavy bottom pan on a medium to low flame and dry roast the lentil until it is golden brown in color.
2)Allow the lentil(urad dal) to cool down completely before you you use the blender to make it into a fine powder.
3)Mix lentil powder,powdered sugar,cardamom powder and hot melted clarified butter mix everything together.
4)Make 10 equal portions of ladoos and store it in a air tight container.
