Rava Dosa is crispy thin crepe made from rice flour, all purpose flour and semolina flour .It is most popular South Indian breakfast recipe ,no fermentation required and can be put together easily for a quick dinner or breakfast.

Ingredients for Rava Dosa batter:
1Cup Rice flour
1/4cup All purpose flour
1/4 Cup semolina
5 to 6 cups of water(approximately)
salt to taste
1tsp Cumin seeds
2tbsp finely chopped ginger and green chilies
1 cup finely chopped onions
1)In a large bowl mix all the ingredients together and make the batter into a pouring consistency. Allow it to rest for 30 minutes.
2)Heat a pan with few drop of oil and pour the batter with the ladle into a thin crepe and allow the dosa/crepe to turn golden brown and flip it to another side and cook for another minute.
3)Transfer into a plate and serve hot with coconut chutney.
-Semolina absorbs more water after allowing the batter to rest for 30 minutes and makes the batter thicker. Feel free to add water to bring back to the consistency required to make the dosa.
