Apricot ginger jam

This homemade golden color apricot jam has just 3 ingredients with a perfect chunky texture.Adding ginger to the jam elevates it taste.

Prep time:5 mins
Cook time:35 mins

Ingredients:
1 cup fresh apricots(wash and roughly chop apricots and set aside)
3 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp freshly grated ginger

Procedure:
1)Combine all the ingredients in a medium to low heat sauce pan.Allow the sugar to dissolve and cook until the jam consistency is reached for about 30-35 mins.
2)Once the jam is cool transfer it to the glass container and store in the refrigerator upto two weeks.

Notes:
-I like my jam to be little to no sweet.If you require more sugar add accordingly.
-If you don’t like chunky texture you can use hand blender at step 1 to get smooth texture.
