Cauliflower Paratha

Cauliflower(Gobi) Paratha is a Indian flatbread filled with grated cauliflower and some Indian spices. It goes well with plain yogurt.

cook time:5mins
Makes 6-8


For dough:

1 cup Multi grain flour
water for kneading the dough
salt to taste

Procedure to make dough:
-In a large bowl prepare the dough by mixing flour, salt and water into a hard dough. Allow it to rest for 20 mins.
-Divide the dough into 6 to 8 equal round balls.

For the filling:
1 cup grated cauliflower
2 green chilies finely chopped
1 medium onion finely chopped
2 tbsp grated paneer
1 small boiled potato grated
2 tbsp cilantro
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp Red chili powder
pinch of turmeric
pinch of salt

-Heat a pan with few drops of oil saute onion for few minutes and then add grated cauliflower cook until the raw flavor is gone.Add rest of the filing ingredients
mix well and set aside.

Procedure to prepare cauliflower Paratha:
1)Stuff each ball of dough with teaspoon of filling and seal the dough. Similarly follow the same process for rest of the dough.
2)Take a rolling pin and roll out the paratha evenly into a circle.
3)Once the pan is hot enough place the paratha onto the pan and cook on both sides evenly.
4)Remove the cooked paratha into a casserole and serve it hot with plain yogurt or curry of your choice or Indian Pickle.
