Cluster(Gawar) beans is fiber rich vegetable with many nutritional benefits. It is steamed and seasoned with chickpea flour/red chili powder. Serve it as a side for Indian flatbread like Roti/Phulka or with some steamed rice.

Serves 3-4
Ingredients:
1 and 1/2 cups Cluster beans chopped roughly(Wash ,steam set aside)
1tsp Oil
salt to taste
1/2tsp red chili powder
2tbsp chickpea flour
few curry leaves
For Seasoning:
1/2tsp mustard seeds
1/2tsp cumin seeds
1/2tsp Urad dal
1/2tsp Chana dal
1 dry red chili
Procedure:
1)In a large skillet add oil and heat on a medium flame add all the seasoning allow them to splutter and dals turn slightly golden brown.
2)Add curry leaves allow them to fry for a sec and add the steamed beans, salt, turmeric, red chili powder. fry for few mins.
3)finally add chickpea flour mix well until the beans are coated and fry until the raw flavor is gone on a medium low heat.
4)Serve hot with roti or steamed rice or quinoa.
Notes:
-Tender young beans work great for this recipe. If unavailable you have to remove the strings for this beans.
-If you residing outside of India you can find it in Indian grocery store .
-If fresh beans not available you can use the frozen ones.

Never tried Gawar curry with besan. I guess I should try this version.
