Vegetable Manchurian a perfect party starter prepared using mixed vegetables like(cabbage,carrot,beans) , corn startch+all-purpose flour +bread crumbs to form a dough and fried until crispy golden brown. It is mixed with homemade Manchurian sauce and garnished with green onion. Serve hot.

2 Cups Mixed vegetables finely shredded(cabbage carrot, beans, green bell pepper)
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1-2tsp corn starch
1-2tsp rice flour
1/3 cup bread crumbs
½ tsp pepper
pinch of salt
Step 1-Combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl to form a thick dough and divide the dough into 10-12 equal small bite size balls. Set aside.
Oil for Frying
For Manchurian sauce:
1 tsp soy sauce or tamari
1/2 tsp vinegar
1/2 tsp hot sauce
2 tbsp. hot & sweet Maggie sauce or tomato ketchup
pinch of sugar
pinch of salt
2tbsp water +corn starch
Step 2-Mix everything together in a mixing bowl and set aside.
1 shallot/onion/green onion finely chopped
1/2tsp finely chopped ginger
1/2tsp finely chopped garlic
1/2tsp sesame seed oil
-Heat a pan with oil on a medium flame and once the oil is hot enough add the vegetable Manchurian balls prepared in step 1 deep fry until crispy golden brown.
Remove them onto a paper towel and set aside
-Heat a wok or pan with pinch of sesame seed oil add ginger, garlic, shallots, salt and fry until onions are soft.
-Then to the Manchurian sauce mixtures bring it to a boil. Then add the fried balls and mix thoroughly fry for a min or two.
– Mix thoroughly until all the Vegetable Manchurian balls are evenly coated with sauce.
-Turn off the stove, serve hot and garnish with cilantro, green onion.
For Air fryer Method:
-Place the vegetable Manchurian ball on the tray spray oil and air fry at 400(F) for 15-20 min until golden brown and crispy. By stirring occasionally.
-If the dough is too firm add few drops of water.
-Oil should be hot enough and always fired on medium low flame. So that is cooks evenly without being raw inside.
