Dahi puri is a popular Indian street food prepared using puffed puri along with boiled potato, chickpea or whole moong dal and seasoned with chaat masala, sev, cilantro .Along with tamarind date sauce and coriander mint chutney. Crunchy and delicious party snack.
-1 box store bought puri or check out my old post(Pani puri) recipe to make puri using Air fryer.
Step 2: For Filling
-1 large boiled potato -Peel the skin and finely chop.Set aside.
-1/4 cup boiled whole moong or chickpea
-1 tsp chaat masala
-1 tbsp finely chopped green chili
-salt to taste
-Mix all the filling ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
Step 3: For Garnish:
1/4 cup plain yogurt -whisk and set aside
1/4 cup coriander mint chutney
1/4 cup Date tamarind chutney
1/4 cup Sev
– Take each puri from (step 1)gently press using spoon or hand to make a hole.
-Add filling from step 2 into the puri and garnish with spoon full of yogurt, coriander chutney, date tamarind chutney and garnish with sev.
-Continue the process for rest of the puri’s and enjoy.
