Instant Pot Aloo curry

Instant pot Aloo curry for dosa’s is prepared using boiled potatoes,cashews,onions and ginger chili paste.This recipe can be made as a one pot dish in pressure cooker or Instant pot or stove top.

Prep time:10mins
Cook time:3-4mins

3 medium potatoes – wash peel the skin and roughly dice the potatoes and set aside in water.
2 medium onions finely chopped
1 tbsp ginger-green chili paste
few curry leaves
salt to taste
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp Oil
1/4 cup water

For seasoning:
1/2tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp channa dal
1/2 tsp urad dal
5-6 raw whole cashews

-Press Saute button in Instant pot add oil once hot enough add all the seasoning ingredients.
-Fry for few mins and add curry leaves,ginger chili paste,onions,salt ,turmeric fry for a min.
-Then add potatoes,water mix well.Close the lid and pressure cook for 4mins.
-Allow it to naturally release the pressure.Once the pin drops.Mix well and Serve hot with dosa.
