Okra chutney

Okra chutney is a unique healthy side dish tasty,tangy and spicy.It is prepared using okra,green chilies and tamarind.Serve hot with some steam rice or quinoa with some ghee.

Prep time: 10 mins
cook time:10 mins

250gms Fresh Okra(Wash and trim the edges.Roughly chop and set aside)
4-5 Green chilies
small piece of tamarind
salt to taste
1-2 garlic cloves
pinch of turmeric
1 tbsp oil

-Place a pan on medium heat add oil once hot enough add all the ingredients.Saute until Okra is soft.Cook it covered.
-Remove from heat and set aside to cool completely.
-Pulse the chutney into medium coarse paste.Transfer it into a bowl and serve it as a side with some hot steam rice or quinoa and ghee.
